ABOUT
HI, I'M ASH.
SOFTWARE ENGINEER · TORONTO
I'm a software engineer in Toronto who likes building software that's a little more fun than it needs to be. At Sentry I helped grow the Performance product by ~$35M in ARR and authored @sentry/babel-plugin-component-annotate, a Babel plugin now pulled down 11.4M times a week on npm. These days I work independently — helping small businesses and frontier AI labs, and building my own projects, like the ones scattered around this site. I'm open to full-time roles and contract work, so if something here resonates, I'd love to hear from you.

PROJECTS
TERMINALSTORY
● LIVE
A tiny multiplayer MMO that runs entirely in your terminal — one live shared world with slimes to whack, skills on cooldown, party chat and whispers, all drawn in half-block characters.
Paste this into any terminal and you're in the game — the same live server as the preview above, real players included.
HIBANA
A habit tracker where every habit is a flame. Spend real focused time to keep it lit, budget your day with fuel, and level each flame from Wisp to Supernova.
TESTBUDS
Synthetic customers that actually use your product and tell you what they think, unfiltered. Persona-driven agents browse your real site, narrate friction in their own voice, and hand you a verdict. Hackathon build.
THE PIXEL WORKSHOP
The hand-built pixel room at the top of this page — it's the whole site.
NOTES
Nothing on the shelf yet — posts land here soon.
